In order to work at Sandy Cove you must be at least 15 years of age by May 24th, 2025. Some positions may require a minimum of either 16 years or 18 years.
Yes! Some employees commute to and from work, but others choose to request to live on site. There is a nominal fee of $35/week for onsite living and meals that can be automatically deducted from a paycheck.
Yes! Employees that live on site have access to 3 meals per day, 7 days a week. Employees that live off site are welcome to a meal each day they work.
Yes! We offer 2 general orientation times based on your arrival dates and each department provides specific training related to the position either during an orientation week or on the job.
Besides potentially meeting lifelong friends, we also offer Summer Staff a lot of fun group activities and ways to connect with others and grow in your relationship with God.
Yes! Some employees choose to “book end” their main summer position working in other departments like food service or housekeeping. Other positions may require you throughout the summer to be scheduled to help in other departments to help the program run smoothly.
All positions are paid at least $15/hour. Some leadership positions with more responsibility may have a slight differential.
