BUT...you do need to register for a FREE license

Here's how...

1. Click this link: https://compass.dnr.maryland.gov/dnrcompassportal
2. Select ENROLL HERE in the top right green box after the question: Never purchased a license from DNR? (unless you happen to have an account in which case you can log in)
3. Create your account.
4. Go back and log in because you have an account now (click on tab "ID and Birthdate")
5. From your customer homepage, under "Services" select PURCHASE NEW LICENSE.
6. Click on the green bar "Free Registration"
7. Select "365 Saltwater Angler Registration" - it will put it in your shopping cart
8. Follow check out process
9. Please print your free license and bring it with you or note your DNRid# in case verification is needed

PLEASE NOTE: THIS FREE LICENSE IS LIMITED TO FISHING FROM THE SANDY COVE PIER. IT DOES NOT INCLUDE FISHING FROM THE JETTY OR SHORELINE.
