Your group doesn't have to stay overnight in our Chesapeake Lodge to get the full benefits of our group package. If they prefer a more outdoorsy experience, our cabins located in the Pioneer Campground and RV Park are a great option.
Pamper your family with a log cabin stay! It's a great opportunity to allow the kids more space - both inside the cabin and outside in the great outdoors. You can plan your own camping getaway or choose a log cabin as a lodging option when attending a Sandy Cove event.
Most of our Log Cabins measure 27′ x 14’7″, with a 6′ porch. One handicap-accessible cabin is available. There is a set of bunk beds in one room, a living area with a futon, a separate bedroom with a double bed, and a loft with 2 single beds. Each cabin sleeps a maximum of 8 people (that’s putting 2 people on a futon, so they should be little ones!) and includes a large full bathroom. Each has A/C and heat, and a kitchen unit with a refrigerator/freezer, 2-burner stove, microwave, sink, and table with 4 chairs. All linens are included. Kitchen supplies are provided. A charcoal grill, fire pit, and picnic table are available on site.

Due to the potential threat of the Emerald Ash Borer, and other invasive beetles, Sandy Cove follows the Maryland Department of Natural Resources guidelines for firewood.
It is the policy of the Sandy Cove Ministries to prohibit the importation of firewood to campsites in both the Pioneer and Wilderness Campgrounds from the campers' private supply of firewood. Firewood must be purchased from the Sandy Cove Ministries or from firewood vendors local to Sandy Cove Ministries.
