Raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Kathy met her late husband, Ken Benjamin, in college where both graduated with degrees in music. Prior to his sudden death in 2004, Ken was on the music faculty of Philadelphia Biblical University for 28 years. She and her husband spent 4 years in the Netherlands and 2 years in Africa doing missionary work; years that greatly grew her faith.
She teaches private piano lessons, speaks at women's retreats and other events, and has her cup overflowing with 13 grandchildren! Story-telling is her forte so she teaches Biblical truth from Bible stories and loves to share of God's faithfulness from her many life's experiences. It's with enthusiasm that she proclaims that 'HIM-dependent' living is good living! She's convinced that God doesn't promise to eliminate pain from our lives but uses it to make us holy and gives us opportunity to experience Him and the abundant life He desires for us.
Kathy loves to challenge others to trust God in the darkest hours of life because Jesus Never Fails.
Favorite hobbies are reading, playing piano, and line dancing to good ole' southern gospel music! When she hears a beat she's on her feet!
Kathy will be leading our praise & worship times as well as getting us on our feet for line dancing!
