What A Day At The Marsh Looks Like

Fun and Games and So Much More!

Our staff work hard to ensure that every day is filled with fun at The Marsh. Bible Learning and Scripture Teaching (BLAST), weekly themes, unique games and creative activities make each week memorable for campers of all ages. Please check the FUN tab for a list of activities!

Sample Daily Schedule

This schedule is for general purposes and may be adapted for weather or fun stuff!

• 7:00-8:30 am - Morning Extended Care* ($)
• 8:30-9:00 - Camper Arrival
• 9:00-9:30 - Morning Welcome
• 9:30-10:00 - Activity 1
• 10:05-10:35 - Activity 2
• 10:40-11:10 - Activity 3
• 11:15-11:45 - Activity 4
• 11:50-12:20 - Lunch at the Cattail Cafe – served fresh daily, no extra cost! Take a peek at our menu. 
• 12:25-12:55 - Activity 5 
• 1:00-1:30 - BLAST Bible Time
• 1:35-2:05 - Fun Activity | Free Swim
• 2:10-2:40 - Free Swim
• 2:45-3:15 - Fun Activity | Free Swim
• 3:20-3:50 - Snack & Closing Circle
• 4:00-4:30 - Camper Pick Up
• 4:30-6:00 - Afternoon Extended Care* ($)

*Child care is available 7:00-8:30 am and 4:30-6:00 pm if your schedule does not allow for arrival and pick up during regular camp hours. Choose each week based on your needs. Pre-registration is required – sign up when you register for the week.

What to Bring

• A bag or small backpack – to carry everything below when needed
• Water bottle with name clearly written
• Waterproof sunscreen or sunblock
• Bathing suit & towel

Campers will be assigned a cubby each week for storing items. Please label everything with camper’s name!

Your camper must have a refillable water bottle. Staying hydrated is especially important during hot, busy days.

Please apply sunscreen to your child each morning before coming to camp. The Marsh staff will remind campers to reapply sunscreen throughout the camp day. Sunscreen authorization is a required part of the registration process.

Please have your camper wear comfortable, camp friendly (appropriate graphics & fit), weather appropriate clothing. We play outside all day and a lot of activities are designed for FUN and your child may get wet, muddy, painted, etc. Sneakers can be great for some of our activities but often get wet during the day and are very difficult to get back on after pool time so flip flops are also great! Think about your camper - some children are happy to wear one set of damp clothes all day and others will need to have at least two sets of dry socks to change into!
