"It’s the most wonderful time of the year"...but is it?

An important foundation is remembering that this is God’s ministry and to rely on His plan. 

Thanksgiving is probably the most under rated, under decorated, and under
celebrated holiday in America.

“This weekend has been life-changing,” said one resident. “I have been nourished in mind, body and soul. I feel refreshed and renewed and ready to take on all the challenges in my life. This ministry is truly blessed and I will be forever grateful.”

Life is awful. Life is wonderful. Both can be true.

When you’re a single parent, you get dropped out of the social circles of couples and families. You’re running at full speed all the time to meet the pace of life with children. It’s exhausting.

We live in a culture that tells us things like: "If it’s real love, then you shouldn’t have to work at your marriage!”

While we have great influence over our lives, we are not ultimately in charge of all things. Some stuff is God’s stuff.
